About
I have been working in technical theatre since my seventh grade year in 2002. I started learning about lighting and have since expanded that knowledge to sound production, video production, computer projection, and other similar facets of live events. My passion however is in lighting design and overall live event production. I get an adrenaline rush from running a live event because things just have to work. What happens on stage has to go as smoothly as possible and there are no chances for a re-do. I have done some television studio work and enjoyed it, but having a live audience brings an added thrill. I have interned with the National FFA Convention, the world’s largest youth gathering, and Cirque du Soleil, the theatrical circus extraordinaire. Currently I am working towards a Bachelors of Arts in Broadcast Media at North Greenville University and plan to graduate in the Spring of 2012. Post-Graduation, I am looking for a full-time position in the entertainment industry, specifically on a tour.
